Meet Place Lab Learning: Home to Lessons on Location

At Place Lab Learning, we’re on a mission to nurture life long learner. We believe that children aged 8-16 will use their autonomy to discover the marvelous thorughout the world. Our on-going program Lessons on Location is the backbone for our dedicated team of mavericks who craft the intriguing materials that blend history, geography, science, math, and language arts (reading & writing) into interactive learning activities tailored after the lesson has been developed on-site of the event, where ancient relics are found or a national landmark is discovered. We know that not all brains thrive the same way, and that’s why our resources are designed to be flexible, letting students be adaptable as they navigate their own learning journeys at their own pace.

Heidi is not just a bookworm or walker of Caminos; she's a vibrant retired educator, storyteller, and lifelong learner who shares a deep zing for helping kids unlock their critical thinking superpowers.
